Studio Frosio has developed a highly specialized competence
in designing and site supervision of hydro-power plants
and hydraulic works.
Studio Frosio, as private consultant, designs and site supervises
works connected with the utilization of renewable sources, mainly
hydro-power plants and hydraulic works like
dams, weirs, dykes, gates, valves, fish ladders, penstocks,
tunnels, canals, turbines, generators.
Studio Frosio offer their experience in order to draw up environmental
impact assessments, to obtain “Green Certificates”,
to draw up technical specification for gates, penstocks, tunnels,
canals, turbines, generators, having the possibility of using
their knowledge in the field of the exploitation of renewable
sources, mainly by hydro-power plants.
Studio Frosio is specialized in the refurbishment and upgrading
of hydro-power plants, in the design of fish ladders, in the
studies for the quantifications of the minimum flow and in the
drawing up of environmental impact assessments.
In addition to the design and site supervision of hydro-power plants and hydraulic works, Studio Frosio - through the controlled
company Frosio S.r.l. - runs other activities such as: surveys,
geognostic surveys, flow gauging, environmental impact assessments,
bureaucratic activities in order to obtain all public authorizations
and State and Community funding, valorization of the energy
produced, achievement and marketing of the “Green Certificates”
connected with the works of refurbishment and upgrading of
hydro-power plants.
Studio Frosio has worked since 1980 as private consultant
in designing and site supervision of hydro-power plants and
hydraulic works with complete respect for the environment.
